Most material decisions fail not because of a bad fabric — but because the shell, trim, reinforcement, and price target were never reviewed together. We coordinate the full material package before sampling, so revisions stay low and the sample comes back closer to what you need.

Tell us what you are making, who carries it, and where it sells. A commuter backpack for Scandinavian retail and a promotional tote for a trade show need completely different material logic — the earlier we know, the fewer dead ends.

We propose a short list of outer fabrics, lining options, zipper types, and hardware finishes that fit your price point and order size. If you already have a reference bag or fabric preference, we start from there and build the rest around it.

Some eco-certified fabrics require minimum yardage that only works above 300 units. Some hardware needs a mold. We map those thresholds before you commit, and suggest alternatives when the numbers don't add up for your first run.

Once the short list is locked, we send physical swatches for hand-feel confirmation, then move into sampling with fewer avoidable revision rounds.

We confirm which documents we can realistically provide before sampling starts — not after production is finished. If a certification path is not viable for your order size or timeline, we tell you upfront and suggest alternatives.

Yes. Once we narrow the direction, we send a swatch set for hand-feel and color confirmation. This adds a few days but significantly reduces revision rounds during sampling.
