Service Models & Design
OEM precision, ODM speed, or ODS full-service — find your fit.
Explore OEM / ODM / ODSWhat is the difference between OEM, ODM, and ODS?
OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturing) is for brands that already have complete designs — you provide the tech pack, and we manufacture to your exact specifications.
ODM (Original Design Manufacturing) lets you choose from our portfolio of proven bag structures, then customize materials, colors, and branding to make them yours.
ODS (Original Design & Solution) is our full concept-to-production service for clients who have a vision but no design team — we handle everything from initial sketches to final production.
Think of it this way: OEM means "make exactly this," ODM means "I like this — make it mine," and ODS means "here's my idea — help me build it from scratch."
I only have a concept — no design files. Can you still help?
Absolutely. Many of our most exciting projects started with nothing more than a mood board, a reference photo, or even a single sentence like 'I want an eco-friendly commuter backpack with a Tokyo aesthetic.'
We are experienced at translating abstract ideas into structural logic — proposing dimensions, materials, compartment layouts, and closure systems, then refining through prototyping until you say 'This is it.'
If you do not have a design team, we become your remote product development department in Asia.
Can you build unusual or highly functional structures — foldable, anti-theft, modular, multi-compartment?
Yes — complex structures are something we genuinely enjoy working on. We've developed expandable-capacity systems, modular bag configurations that let users add or remove components, hidden anti-theft pockets, and intricate organizational interiors.
We've also worked on a convertible diaper bag that transforms into an everyday tote as the child grows, and a pet social backpack with a built-in profile display system. If you can describe the function, we can engineer the structure.
Can you develop an entire product line — not just one bag?
Yes, and we'd encourage it. We regularly help clients build multi-SKU ranges — say, a backpack, tote, and accessory pouch as a coordinated collection.
We establish consistency across the line through shared materials, hardware language, and proportional logic, while keeping each product functionally independent. This approach also improves cost efficiency, since materials and trims can be consolidated across styles.
I have an existing bag I want to improve, but I do not have the original files. Can you help?
Yes. Send us the physical sample or clear, detailed photographs. We'll re-measure every dimension, reconstruct the pattern, and then propose specific improvements — whether that's upgrading the material, refining the closure mechanism, adding functional compartments, or adjusting proportions for a cleaner silhouette.
My brand has a very specific aesthetic — minimalist, artistic, gender-neutral. Can you work with that?
We work with brands across a wide range of aesthetics — from lifestyle-driven and Japanese-minimalist to bold, design-forward, and gender-neutral.
You do not need to give us complete technical drawings. Share your references, keywords, and directional images, and we'll translate those into structural decisions, material pairings, and hardware choices that express your brand's visual identity in a producible form.
We are designing for a unisex or gender-neutral audience. Do you have experience with that?
Yes. We are familiar with the growing demand for genderless and non-binary product design. Whether you are aiming for a clean, neutral everyday look or a more structured silhouette that avoids traditional gender cues, we can guide the right combination of proportions, materials, and hardware to express the identity you are after — without relying solely on color or shape stereotypes.
Can OEM and ODM work together? Do I have to pick one?
They're not mutually exclusive. Many clients start with ODM — customizing our existing structures to enter the market quickly — and later transition to OEM as they develop their own in-house design capability. We support clients through that evolution, adjusting our role at each stage.
MOQ, Samples & Pricing
Start from 100 pcs. Sampling, pricing, and scaling — all transparent.
See Sampling ProcessWhat is your minimum order quantity (MOQ)? Can I mix styles and colors?
For most products, our MOQ starts at 100–200 pieces per style, depending on structure and materials. If multiple styles share the same fabric or hardware, we can consolidate them toward a combined MOQ — which is particularly helpful for brands launching several styles simultaneously.
Most traditional factories require 300–1,000 pieces and decline orders without confirmed repeat plans. We're built differently — we support small-batch testing, rolling reorders, and multi-SKU launches from day one.
Do different colors require separate MOQs?
It depends on the material. If the fabrics can be shared across colorways, we'll consolidate where possible to keep your quantities flexible.
We'll advise upfront which color combinations work well for small-batch pairing and which ones require full-bolt procurement — so there are no surprises.
If I start with a sample, can I follow up with a bulk order later? Will the price change?
Yes, and we plan for it. At the sampling stage, we provide a bulk price estimate based on your target quantity. As long as the bulk order follows within a reasonable timeframe and materials remain unchanged, we'll maintain or only minimally adjust the original price.
We want sampling to feel like a low-risk first step — not a standalone transaction.
How many sample revisions are included? Is each round charged?
After the first prototype, we include one round of minor adjustments at no additional cost — things like hardware changes, slight color shifts, or small dimensional tweaks.
If you need multiple rounds of revision or a significant structural rework, we'll charge a reasonable fee, always quoted and approved in advance. Our goal is to get it right, not to pad revision costs.
Can you produce custom molds for hardware or structural parts?
Yes. If your product requires proprietary plastic components, press fittings, or specialty hardware, we can coordinate mold development. Mold fees are borne by the client initially, but they can be amortized across bulk orders or partially refunded as volumes grow.
How much does sampling cost, and how long does it take?
It depends on complexity:
Simple products (tote bags, pouches, wallets) — $50–100 per sample, 7–10 working days.
Mid-complexity items (handbags, crossbody bags, everyday backpacks) — $100–250, 10–14 days.
Complex structures (convertible bags, modular systems, expandable designs) — $250+, 14–21+ days.
Sample cost includes standard material sourcing, pattern making, stitching, basic logo application, quality check, and packaging. Non-standard materials, custom molds, and shipping are quoted separately with your approval.
Materials & Sustainability
GRS, OEKO-TEX, REACH — real certifications, real projects.
View Eco MaterialsWhat sustainable materials do you currently offer?
We actively use several eco-friendly materials in live projects: GRS-certified recycled polyester (rPET) for outer shells and linings, low-VOC TPU-coated fabrics as a REACH-compliant alternative to PU, and FSC-certified paper for packaging components.
We can also source specialty eco materials on request, including Desserto cactus leather, ECONYL regenerated nylon, AppleSkin plant-based leather, Pinatex pineapple fiber, and PortugaliaCork natural cork.
We engage on sustainability from the material selection stage — not as an afterthought.
Can I use eco materials for a small test run before committing to bulk?
Yes, and we encourage it. Small-batch testing of eco materials is one of the advantages of our flexible production model.
We often recommend that brands start with partial eco-integration — for example, a recycled lining or FSC-certified packaging — rather than replacing everything at once. This reduces both risk and cost, and lets you learn what resonates with your customers before scaling up the eco proportion.
What sustainability certifications and compliance documents can you provide?
We can provide or help you obtain: GRS (Global Recycled Standard) certificates with fabric batch labels, OEKO-TEX Standard 100 documentation, REACH compliance declarations for the EU market, FSC-certified paper material records, and vegan declarations for non-animal material substitutes.
We're familiar with the documentation requirements for EU retail channels like Zalando and Galeries Lafayette, as well as US retailers like Nordstrom. We can assist in preparing material-level compliance documents where needed.
I'm interested in sustainable materials but do not know where to start. Can you guide me?
That's exactly what we're here for. We'll evaluate your product positioning, target market, and budget, then recommend which eco materials make the most practical and commercial sense for your specific project.
Not every product needs to be 100% sustainable from day one — sometimes a recycled lining and eco-friendly packaging are the right starting point. We help you make informed choices, not performative ones.
I'm located overseas. How does shipping work? Can you handle everything?
Yes. We handle the entire logistics process from our factory to your overseas warehouse — including international express (DHL, FedEx, UPS), air freight, and sea freight, complete with quotations, customs documentation, and tracking services.
We can also work with your nominated forwarder or prepare shipments for FBA fulfillment if you sell through Amazon.
Can you ship one order to multiple destinations or in staggered batches?
Yes. We can accommodate split packing and multi-destination dispatch plans. We coordinate with different freight forwarders simultaneously to ensure smooth, synchronized deliveries according to your launch schedule.
Can I inspect the goods before shipping? Do you allow third-party inspections?
Yes. We conduct strict internal quality control before dispatch. We also fully welcome third-party inspection teams designated by you (such as SGS or Intertek) to audit the goods at our facility. Inspection fees are covered by the client; we coordinate scheduling and access.
What happens if a shipment is lost or damaged in transit?
We ensure products are securely and carefully packed before leaving our facility. We work with standard insured and trackable logistics providers.
Should any transit issues arise, we actively assist you in communicating with the logistics company and filing claims. We'll also work with you to minimize impact on your timeline.
How long does production and delivery take overall?
Samples typically take 7–15 working days depending on complexity. Bulk production runs 35–45 calendar days from material confirmation.
Transit times vary by method: international express reaches major US and EU cities in 4–8 days, air freight in 8–12 days, and sea freight in 20–35 days.
We can help you plan a realistic development-to-delivery timeline at the start of your project so you're never caught off guard.
What payment methods do you accept?
We support bank wire transfers (T/T). During the sampling phase, 100% payment is typically required upfront. For bulk production, staged milestone payments are used.
For initial collaborations, we recommend full upfront payment, and terms open for negotiation on future orders as trust is established.
Do you sign official contracts, NDAs, and development agreements?
Yes. We fully support signing formal purchase agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), and product development contracts to legally protect both parties. If you have specific corporate templates, we are happy to review and accommodate them.
Can I develop an exclusive design with you? Do you reuse designs?
If you request and pay for an exclusive, proprietary design, we guarantee it will never be used for other brands.
However, unless specifically agreed upon, we reserve the right to leverage generalized, internally-developed core structures for other client projects. The distinction is clear: your unique design elements stay yours; universal structural knowledge remains part of our development toolkit.
How do you protect my intellectual property throughout the process?
Your designs are your competitive advantage, and we treat them that way. We offer mutual NDAs before any design files or creative materials are shared.
All project documents are restricted to the assigned team and stored in secure digital systems. For exclusive designs, we can arrange dedicated production stations and materials. Confidentiality clauses extend to our fabric suppliers, trim vendors, and sub-contractors.
We will never display, exhibit, or reference your products at trade shows, on social media, or in our showroom without your explicit permission.
What should I do if I find issues with the delivered products?
Please contact us within 7 days of receiving the shipment and provide photographic or video evidence of the issue. We will investigate thoroughly and propose a reasonable solution — which may include replacement, refund, or adjustments applied to the next production batch.
We stand behind our work.
Do you accept returns or provide refunds?
Because custom manufacturing involves highly specific client branding, we do not accept returns without valid cause.
However, if there are batch-wide quality defects, wrong styles shipped, or significant quantity discrepancies, we will issue refunds, repairs, or replacements based on the specific situation. We handle every case fairly and transparently.
Do you offer a warranty on the bags?
While we do not provide a consumer-facing 'warranty,' we stand by our craftsmanship. If structural failures, hardware detachment, or material faults occur under normal use conditions, we will investigate the root cause and implement mandatory manufacturing optimizations for your future orders.
We can also establish specialized after-sales protocols for unique projects if needed.
If I reorder the same bag next year, will it be identical to the first batch?
We maintain a comprehensive production archive, logging pattern details, material sources, and structural parameters for every style we produce — to guarantee consistency in reorders.
If a specific material is discontinued by a supplier, we will notify you immediately and provide the closest proven alternatives — never substitute without your knowledge.
Will you help refine the product if my users report functionality issues?
Absolutely. End-user feedback is invaluable. We actively use market feedback to optimize structural integrity and identify better materials for subsequent production runs.
For repeat clients, we conduct regular reviews to surface common issues and propose improvements. Every delivery is the starting point for a better next one.
